1) Enter your message as you would any other. This part should be used to more fully explain the purpose of the poll.
2) After the message has been entered slide down with the slide bar on the right of the screen to the "Add a Poll" heading.
3) The first box (Poll Question) is where you enter the question. As an example: Which is your favorite color?
4) Then begin to enter the choices under Poll Option. Using the color question example you can enter Red as the first choice. After entering Red click Add Option.
5) This will bring up another blank Poll Option. Enter Green and click Add Option.
Repeat for each different choice you want to add. I do not know what the limit is on the number of choices but it appears to be limitless.
You click the Add Option even on the last choice. Just leave that field blank when all the choices have been entered.
You then have the option of "Run Poll For". This is how long you want the poll to stay open. Typing a zero or leaving it blank will leave the poll open ended time wise. By typing a specific number it will stay open for that number of days.
You can click Preview to see how it will look. You must click Submit when it is ready to be posted to the forum.
