Relatives and people describing Lizzie

I was reading in the resources section, undre Press reports the
statements Hiram Harrington(married to Andrew's sister) was saying about both Emma and Lizzie. Wrtoe August 1892. Sorry didn't get the newspaper, but it's amazing the insight he had on the girls.

Paraphazing here, but it seems Emma was very quiet and unassuming; Lizzie on the other hand,was haughty and domineeringwith the stubborn will of her father and bound to contes for her rights. There are many animated interviews between father and daughter onthis point, LIzzie is of a repellant desposition and after an unsucessful passage with her father would become sulky and refuse to speak to him for days at a time. She moved in the best society in Fall River. She was a member of congregational church and is brillant conversationalist.

The artticle goes on to say that Lizzie would have love to entertain, that in the way of the person of her stature in the society, but her father forbade it, and that was cause for alot of disention between the two of them.

I just the article was interesting. Gave me a little insight on Lizzie.

Are you maybe thinking of the Daily Herald of the 6th, snokkums, where Uncle Hiram was asked: "What do you think was the motive for the crime?" asked the reporter.

'Money, unquestionably money,' replied Mr. Harrington. 'If Mr. Borden died, he would have left something over $500,000, and all I will say is that, in my opinion, that furnishes the only motive, and a sufficient one, for the double murder. I have heard so much now that I would not be surprised at the arrest any time of the person to whom in my opinion suspicion strongly points, although right down in my heart I could not say I believed the party guilty."

A few days later, under questioning at the inquest, Lizzie herself was quoted thus:

Q. Beside that do you know of anybody that your father had bad feelings toward, or who had bad feelings toward your father?
A. I know of one man that has not been friendly with him; they have not been friendly for years.
Q. Who?
A. Mr. Hiram C. Harrington.
Q. What relation is he to him?
A. He is my father's brother-in-law.
Q. Your mother's brother?
A. My father's only sister married Mr. Harrington.
Q. Anybody else that was on bad terms with your father, or that your father was on bad terms with?
A. Not that I know of.

Within a week of the murders, each one seemingly implicated the other as a murder suspect.
