Happy Valentine's Day

Post by Shelley »

Just getting my wishes out early for all the Sweeties out there. This is one of my favorite holidays. The priest I work for said it was depressing for single people and was over-hyped- and I say phooey on that! It's a day to kiss the cat, hug the dog, and be very grateful for the warm friendships and affection of all those near and dear.
Eat chocolates, pamper yourself a little and tell somebody how special they are.

Happy Valentine's Day Forum Friends. !

Not only am I unmarried and un-girlfriended on this Valentine's Day, I'm stuck down in Mocksville, North Carolina at a utility equipment web order entry system meeting and this evening I'm going out with my boss to discusss stategy for global deployment.

Oh well, I'll hug a dog or a cat if I see one.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I found out what I can do on my lunch break. The grave site of Daniel Boone's parents is up the road. I'll go take a few pictures.

See, Richard, you're supposed to flirt with the female members of the forum like Harry did. . .

Of course he's. . .ahem. . .16, and can get away with behavior like that. . .
I've met Kat and Harry and Stef, oh my!
(And Diana, Richard, nbcatlover, Doug Parkhurst and Marilou, Shelley, "Cemetery" Jeff, Nadzieja, kfactor, Barbara, JoAnne, Michael, Katrina and my 255 character limit is up.)

The last time I flirted with a woman, I wound up getting married for ten years.

Richard, I had the opposite happen. I flirted with a woman for ten years and got nowhere. Now we're both married to other people.

The next person I marry will have to have a fairly high tolerance for a Lizzie Borden obsession, photographs of abandoned steel mills, field trips to Typhoid Mary's abandoned shack, and friends who dress up like Henry Rogers and Andrew J. Borden. I suppose those aren't things you put into an on-line personal ad!
