I am new to the message board. I work for a theatre company interested in producing a one act about Lizzie Borden. I decided to join the list to do some research so we can give an accurate presentation.
I've got a few leads so far... have any of you read good ones you can reccomend? Most of what I'm finding is out of print.

Actually yes, we would be delighted to look at original works! At least once a season we produce an orginial script and for the Lizzie Borden show we hope to produce it in Fall 2008.
One Act or a show 45 to 60 min in length (about 30 to 45 pages typically) is what we are looking for to augment our Alternative Stage.
