Webcam at Lizzies?

Post by kssunflower »

Is it true there are plans to install 24 hr webcams at the scenes of the murders, excluding when the guest room is occupied, of course. I'm very interested in the paranormal and think this is a great idea.

I've never heard of this idea before. Maybe Shelley would know.

Well, Lee-ann would know too and she is a member here. It's funny I was just reading about her in SOCO, Oct. 2007, a magazine Stefani loaned to me and Lee-ann's last name was misspelled throughout. *Wilbur*
I believe she is Wilber. How could the magazine get that wrong? (Pages 46-48 title "Do You Believe In Ghosts?" by J. Alexander.)

I saw something regarding this on another website, but can't recall it.

Boy did I ever misread this thread when it was first posted and there were no replies yet.

I thought it was some kind of joke, as I misread the word "excluding" for the word "even."

So I thought the first line read "Is it true there are plans to install 24 hr webcams at the scenes of the murders, even when the guestroom is occupied."

The Joke is on me with this one.

Of course the webcam in the guest room would have to be turned off when occupied! I could tell some tales . . . .but we sure don't need to broadcast any of them live! (blush)

Glad I could make someone laugh.....

I just got another book on the paranormal that includes the Borden house. It mentions that Bridget's room and the staircase near it are other active areas and there are supposedly the spirits of two children who lived next door to the Bordens and died in a well that are in the house also.

One interesting comment about Andrew was that he made money after the Civil War ended by buying the properties of widows who could no longer afford them, then renting it back to them, raising the rent, and evicting them.

Yes, I used to feel "safe" on the third floor. Now there are stories of the sewing maching in Jennings running by itself, the ghost of former tour guide Michael showing up (he was tragically killed in a fire about 5 years ago), a lady standing at the foot of the bed, either covering up, or pulling the covers off male guests in the night, and pasing through the door. There are some guests who swear they hear the children from the Ladwick Borden murders playing on the third floor (some guests even brought toys to keep upstairs for them, and of course the ghost cat tales. I wish Uncle John would appear- I have lots to ask him

Shelley, I'm sure you could write a book on what you have witnessed/heard at the Borden residence!

Oh, why not, Shelley? Hmmm?

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall on that day in 1892 with a camcorder rolling. If only walls could talk! It would be nice to have a camcorder recording the outside of the house, time lapse of about one frame every 15 seconds for 24 hours. That would be cool.
