Waiting for your stimulus money?
This IRS site lets you enter your SSN, filing status and number of exemptions and tries to find out when the payment will be sent.

My dad got his $600.00 today. Still waiting for mine...
Harry, I have "Window Washer" and other software programs that erase every move I make on the net so there are no records of where I went or what numbers I typed. Closing my browser is the first step I take then I run the programs to erase every left-over crumb. I just hope it really works.

Very good choice, Steve. You'll be pleased with the findings on this site:
http://privacy-software-review.toptenre ... IgodDHE8DA
It finished second to Evidence Eliminator which costs more than three times as much money.

How to waste tax payer money:
Just received in the mail today, 6/16, a notice that my stimulus check should arrive by 6/20. I guess putting the check in the envelope would have been too hard. I'll probably get another notice before the 20th telling me its on the way.

Well, Harry, I am so thankful that our tax money is being spent to hire the smartest "thinkers" in the world! Yes indeed, I sleep good at night knowing the US Government knows how important it is to send out two or three letters when only one is actually needed! With the soaring cost of postage, fuel and all that extra paper, which will fortunately end up in the landfills, I am so proud of these smart, intelligent, hardworking experts! It just warms my heart!

Just checked the status of my stimulus check. It said it was scheduled to be mailed June 20th (last Friday) and if I didn't get it by July 25th to let them know.
Jeesh, you mean it can be in the mail that long? Guess there's a reason they call it snail mail.

Well, Harry, tomorrow is the big day!
My dad had to send his check back to the IRS two days after he got it. He pays taxes quarterly. Bummer.

Doug is right, Direct deposit is the way to go for checks. They get deposited early and the system is reliable. No more "did the check get lost in the mail" fears.
