Lizzie Short Story

Post by augusta »

At this website, there is a short story that has the Borden murder house as its background. Haven't read it yet, and don't know how much it has to do with Lizzie, but by just peeking it looks like the house is mentioned a lot.

I just read this fairly quickly, but apparently the author didn't think much of his visit to Lizzie's, though I'm sure it was fictional. Noticed this was published at the Univ. of "Misery" (Missouri). That figures.....

I took the time and read the whole thing. What a ridiculous story,-none of the garbage this guy says was EVER in a million years on any night tour ever given at the house by anyone. There is also no tour guide at the house who looks even remotely like this person he describes and the errors in every sentence of his make believe tour are too prepostrous to even address.
Sadly, somebody will read this and actually believe it. I might go so far as to believe his descriptions of some of his fellow guests- the rest comes from a dismal imagination.

Two words - Gawd Awful.
I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

Thanks for the warning, Harry. I still want to read it just because I can't pass it up. I value your opinion very highly, as you know, and I am sure you're right.
