Does anyone have any thoughts on my short story that is in the most recent edition of "The Literary Hatchet"?

I really liked it. I thought it well written and enjoyable. A very nice surprise from the writer of nonfiction!

Reminded me very much of Stephen King's short fiction.

I liked your use of "Spam pink". That was a good visual I thought. I thought your characters were wonderful. I wonder if you used the characters' names too much in the dialogue, when "he", "she" or something else could have been used. I thought the story was very interesting, but I hate to say I didn't get it. That's my fault, I'm sure. I can't get into Sci-Fi. I hope you submit more fiction. I think there was a lot of creativity in your piece.
