Another mysterious note.

Post by Franz »

I read somewhere that, on August 3rd, 1892, Abby Borden sent for the family physician, Dr. Bowen, because she had received an anonymous note stating that the family was being “poisoned”. Is it true? If so, could anyone give me some first-hand source information? Thanks!

Alice Russell's trial testimony contains the information about Abby's visit to Dr. Bowen on August 3rd. There was nothing about Abby receiving a note concerning poisoning.
