Newbie here!

Post by Kristin »

So glad I found this forum. Looks like a fun place. I've been fascinated by this story for about 20 or so yrs now and have recently started thinking about it a lot. I've only read 2 books about it though. One written in the early 60's and the Arnold Brown one. I definitely want to visit the Lizzie Borden house sometime in the future. For those who have been there, are the 2nd St. House (Bed and Breakfast), the French St. House (Maplecroft) and the cemetery where the Bordens are buried in close proximity to one another? I'd like to see everything if I ever go.
Anyway guilty or not (I tend to go back and forth with that). I can't help but empathize with this woman, disfunctional family, living in primitive conditions, very little privacy not fully having a life of her own etc... It's no wonder she had issues.

Hi, Kristin! Another newbie here, too. I would also love to go visit those places. I will have to look them up to see if they are in close proximity. I go back and forth, too but lean more to she didn't do it (can't explain why yet). I've not read any of the books but I have one of the new ones coming to me next week that is written from a forensics point of view (present day). Should be very interesting. I also want to write a book but not sure about what point of view.
