That first image resembles 18 decorated parasols of blue and yellow twirling about, seen from above.

That could cause a migraine headache!

There was something on another forum that was a moving cartoon. There were I think 13 men in soccer outfits. The top halves of them shifted places and there were 12 men. Then it shifted back and there were 13 again. Back and forth. Nobody ever figured that out. I thought I did but was told I didn't.

This is my favorite...I see her clockwise and then close my eyes and change her to counterclockwise.

Ahhh, yes, the spinning dancer. This is also one of my favorites.

This is the first time I’ve seen the spinning dancer, as ‘twins’ in white on gray. I am more familiar with the single spinning dancer, shown as black on gray.

Supposedly, if you see her spin in a clockwise, then you are using the right side of your brain, and therefore are a creative thinker. If you see her in a counter-clockwise direction, then you are using the left side of your brain, and therefore you are a logical thinker. However, if you see her spinning both ways, then you are considered to be really smart and have a high IQ. (What a bunch of Hooey!!!).

The truth is, the spinning dancer is not a brain test.

This illusion was created by web designer Nobuyuki Kayahara. The spinning dancer illusion is a kinetic, bistable optical illusion. The original image of a dancer in a perpetual spin can be interpreted two different ways - she can either be spinning in a clockwise direction, or in a counter-clockwise direction (imagine her spinning on a clock face). Some people's perception may favor one direction over the other, and some people may see her change directions from time to time. The fact is that the image is a constant 34-frame loop representing 1 full revolution of the dancer, and no trickery is used to make her seem to be spinning one way or the other at any point in time. The effect is entirely caused by the perception of the viewer as he or she interprets the ambiguous frames where the spinning dancer's body appendages (legs and arms) cross over each other.

I find it quite easy to get her to change direction, by focusing on either her feet or knees, and then blink my eyes a couple of times.

Tim, if you stare at the black center 'star' for about 10 to 20 seconds, the pointed edges of the surrounding stars will change directions.
