emma's alibi

Post by snokkums »

I know Emma said she was in Fairhaven visiting people but I was just wandering how well did the police check her alibi. I am reading the book Lizzie didn't do it and it seems that it was more lizzie was the one to do the traveling and stuff and emma was more retireing, didn't do any traveling. So to me it seems out of character for her to go out. And it also seems that once they settled on Lizzie they didn't look anywhere else.

Hi snookums!
You got some good thoughts from the book.
They were so close, do you think Emma would have left her sister?

I don't know if she would have left her sister, but she just seems alittle more reserved. The only reason she left maplecroft was because of the comings and goings. Lizzie was really stepping out and having a good time. Emma was little more reserved.

And I think that the police didn't really check her alibi. Anybody can say that they were some where, and have some one back them up, but you can always poke holes in an alibi if it isn't a good one. I mean, the cops now days ask two, maybe three times where you were what you were doing and who you were seeing and the like. It just didin't seem like they did that with emma.
