I was looking at lizzies will. More exact I was looking at schedule A and be. Now I know when you die, your will and affairs have to be in order, but this was amazing to me.
Seems like she had everything documented, alll the way down to 40 cents for a phone call and 7. dollars for travel, lunch and telephone.
Just thought it was interesting. I think she might have made quite the buisness woman.

I think she had a lot of time on her hands to think about these things. She also seems to have been the type of person who was very detail-oriented. She was probably driven to perfection because having that type of control and drive is something very satisfying in an otherwise mundane and boring life.
Who knows...she might have even considered it a fun game deciding who gets what. Self-righteousness and superiority are two things that I think Lizzie enjoyed.

LIZZIE BORDEN'S THEME SONG
(to the tune of Green Acres)
Fall River is the place to be,
city living is the life for me.
Bought a nicer house,
so big and wide!
Forget 92 Second Street,
that's where I was charged with homicide!

The board game "Monopoly" was invented circa 1932. A PBS show said it was based on an earlier game called "Landlord" created by the Henry George "Single Tax" advocates. To teach how land ownership was the most important, then or now. Anrew J. Borden would have no need for this game, he played it very well.snokkums @ Thu Aug 31, 2006 12:50 pm wrote:Makes me wander to if might liked to play the popular board games of the day. Did the game manoply exist in her time? She looks like the type of person that would like that game.
It was Farmer William in the Bedroom with the Hatchet.
