Haulover & Pippy

Post by augusta »

I just received the current copy of 'The Hatchet'. Long story, but it amounts to I ordered it quite late.

Stefani, I don't know how you do it but each issue is even more eye appealing than the last. It's just gorgeous!

I read Haulover's critique of "Lizzie's Tiger" first. I had read Carter's story just recently, when a much loved friend sent me a copy. I loved your review, Eugene. You gave me some insights I hadn't thought of (the poster's appearance for one). Oh, yeah. Those lines about Ferry Street were great.

I understand what you said about her ending. You're right. But I was so thrilled to get this little imaginative snippet of little Lizzie, I appreciated the story just in general. I forgave the non-ending. Thank you for an excellent critique. I hope we will have the pleasure of many more from you.

Pippy! Pippy! (I love 'saying' that name.) Your 'Bridget in the Kitchen' was so good! I laughed and laughed at it. I expected Bridget to say almost anything except that. You know how to get a laugh, honey. Thank you for your delightful contribution.

It looks like I am going to have to start subscribing to the Hatchet, Augusta. Sounds very interesting.

Thank you for the insight.
