Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all!

It's relatively easy today to prepare a Thanksgiving meal but Bridget must have had her hands full. Lincoln says she had Sundays off and Thursday's just after dinner. Undoubtedly Mrs. Borden and possibly even Emma pitched in to help.

Our Lizzie would have been elsewhere. From Radin's book:

"... With a group of friends she organized annual Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners for poor children and newsboys and she was an active worker in the kitchen, cooking and loading their plates. ..."
