I most definitely accept a belated Birthday Wish Kat..........I had an awesome Birthday shared with friends and family and my online friends here at the forum. I can't thank God enough for making this 1/2 century a wonderful experience and I look forward to the next 1/2 century.

Heres another one, sorry, was on vacation with no computer access. Happy Belated Birthday, Steve! You do indeed have a very good attitude towards aging, I can't say the same for myself though. Glad you enjoyed your birthday. :peanut5:

Thank you Susan......it's never too late to accept a Happy Birthday wish. I look at it this way about aging...you have 2 choices...grow old ..or die. Personaly I'd rather grow old  I do feel that God has blessed me with 50 wonderful years on this Earth. You can't beat the experience. I hope you had an awesome vacation. I was on vaca also...just hung around the house, relaxed and went in the pool everyday...also indulged myself at the local amusement park. I do that once a year ( I love the bumper cars) keeps me young I guess.

You're welcome, Steve. I think the trick is to grow old gracefully and never lose your sense of wonder or curiousity about things, or forget to play. No, you definitely can't beat the experience, especially if you have learned something frome it.

Yes, I had a very nice vacation, thanks, mostly just lazing around, but, we did do some fun stuff. We saw Kathy Griffin perform her comedy show, stayed in a local historic hotel for a couple of days, went to the local Gay Pride parade, took the dogs to Dog beach, and spent a couple of days at Disneyland which is always a blast, and had fun times with friends and family. But now its time to start work again, boooooooooo.

Did they refurbish your beloved Haunted Mansion, Susan? How'd it look?

It looked wonderful, it likes visiting a dear old friend. The big refurb has been done for some time now, but, they have added some new little enhancements here and there. Like the conveyor belt where you load into your doombuggy has been painted so that it looks like a carpet runner. Small World is down for rehab right now. Apparently people are much heavier now than in the 1950s and the boats tend to bottom out in a couple of areas in the ride which are being addressed. We saw Christina Applegate in the park on the Wednesday that we were there.
