I saw it in 3D yesterday in a half empty theatre. It is fantastic. It makes older computer graphics look silly by comparison. If it doesn't win best picture, there is no god. I avoid the sci-fi contrived movies that are made for the teeny bopper crowd, but this movie is absolutely amazing. The live actors and C graphic images are flawless. The strange and beautiful world, along with the color, and Dolby sound, made my day. I have to admit, I loved watching the bad guys getting killed. I don't want to spoil it for those of you who have not seen it. I found that I did cry a bit, much to my surprise.
I am going to see it again. IMAX. Way to go.
