I wish to inform the members here regarding recent "attacks" on Franz. It is one thing to disagree with someone, or to argue a point, or to feel that someone's ideas are silly, out of touch, or fanciful. Personal attacks are unnecessary and will not be tolerated here.
Arguments can get heated, but if you have an issue with someone, STOP READING THEM. There is an ignore button for just that reason. IGNORE instead of attack. Please.
We have lost mbhenty to the forum. He has decided to leave because he says "I can't stand the way some members are acting." He insisted on being removed from the membership. He is a long time member who has decided to call it quits. I have recently been notified by other members who feel as he does, which is a shame.
This forum is for adult discussion. The rules are clear. I will not call each of you out for your actions, unless they do not change. I would hate to have to resort to temporarily suspending members' accounts when this is so easily rectified by simply ignoring the conversation and being civil.
As I have said many times before, consider this forum your living room, a place where you make new friends. At times, people get off topic and that's great. If it disturbs you, try steering people back on topic. At times, people have whacky scenarios---dismiss them by disagreeing. If the poster persists, ignore them and go onto another topic.
I appreciate all of you who post and contribute. Just let's do it with kindness.
Thank you.

It's enought to make you want to break off the handle of an ax, dip in water, and roll it around in ashes!

When I did marriage counseling, I told people to follow 3 rules:
No name calling,
No bringing up past mistakes,
No raising the voice.

Geez, what would married couples have to talk about if they couldn't bring up past mistakes? (kidding!) Seriously, those are good rules. I guess a raised voice on here would be ALL CAPS...AM I YELLING???
