Okay, I know there are threads regarding Bridget but I was talking with my husband and he pointed out:
Bridget is a very good choice as to 'who did it?" because who better than the help to know how to wield an hatchet (and axe) for chopping wood and who better to know how to remove blood from clothing than the maid who did the wash?

Re: Bridget
I'm getting my rifle out right now, MysteryReader! LOL!
Andrew employed a man, I think he was called Sam, at his Swansea farm, to do odd jobs for him. These included chopping firewood for No. 92, bringing eggs and other produce from the farm, and presumably doing any fixing up that needed doing.
Bridget has been considered as a suspect before, but she was seen outside cleaning the windows by Mrs Churchill and of course she had a long talk over the fence with the Kelly's maid. (Mrs Churchill's testimony, the maid's witness statement.) Have a look at the conversation at the side door between Bridget and Lizzie at about 9:30 am on that Thursday as she (Bridget) was about to clean the windows. You can look it up on the Search engine of the Forum. Bridget was outside. Lizzie was inside the house.
Look, call me biased. I'm a 'Lizzie did it' person and I'll wear that, but a few facts here. Bridget was quite happy with the Bordens. If she hadn't been she would have left. Abby was fond of her, told her she would be lonely if she left, upped her wages when she got homesick.
Bridget didn't have that much work to do compare with many other servants of the time. Keeping the downstairs rooms clean, helping Abby with food preparation and serving it, washing the dishes and cleaning the windows was the main part of it. She had ample time off.
Look through her testimony at the inquest, preliminary and trial. Is there any sign of resentment, etc. at the way she was treated? She only left because she was terrified of sleeping at No 92 any more, and who can blame her?

Aww, thank you, BOBO! You made my day!
Actually, he's not a joiner. I graduated last year with a degree in criminal justice and my specialty is crime scene investigation so he's used to my bouncing ideas on him and he gets me to think outside the box. I knew after I submitted that it was wrong. But anyways.. back to reading.

Sorry! I'm the only one interested in Lizzie and hubby tends to keep to himself.
