Lizzie Borden’s Maplecroft is getting a major facelift

The new owner of Lizzie Borden’s Maplecroft on French Street in Fall River, Massachusetts, is getting a major facelift.

Ms. Kristee Bates recently told the Fall River Herald News about her plans and took reporter Deb Allard and photographer Dave Souza on a tour.  The article appeared in today’s paper and you can view it here.

Ms. Bates has her work cut out for her. But she is energetic, enthusiastic, and talented in design and historic restoration. We are all pleased to see that the new owner is the right owner!

Look! The news made the front page!
