Forensic Week

Was Lizzie Borden a Victim of Incest, the TV Interview

If you missed the live internet broadcast of the most recent episode of Forensic Week, we have it here for you to enjoy.

Unfortunately, Dr. Stephen Kane was unable to make the show, due to unforeseen circumstances. However, Dr. Stefani Koorey and Dr. Tom Mauriello had a lively discussion the psychology of the Borden murder case and the “possibility” that Lizzie Borden was a victim of incest.

Dr. Koorey does not agree with this theory and gives her reasons why, citing what we know about the case from primary sources, not family gossip or innuendo. Likewise, she disputes the sources Dr. Kane used in his work, finding them two the least reputable in the Borden case oeuvre.

Perhaps a future show will feature a further debate between these two, and if such a show is planned, you will hear about it here.

Mondo Lizzie Borden, Episode 7: NOT Lizzie Borden

Being a collector of the weird and fabulous as it relates to the Borden case, I have files of these images saved during the past twenty years. And I would like to share them with you now. Laugh, gasp, chuckle, or rage, these photos were all on eBay. For a price. I used to write the sellers and let them know they didn’t have a Lizzie, but soon gave up on that practice. They didn’t care. Even though they were committing fraud by the sale of the image as a true Lizzie Borden. Oh well.

Here we go. Enjoy.
